Terms and Conditions Warranty Coverage Lumled Corporation, at its sole discretion, will: Repair any defective product, Provide a replacement, or Reimburse the original purchase price. The Company is not responsible for additional expenses related to a Warranty claim, including but not limited to shipping, labor, or costs associated with removing, repairing, or installing any defective, repaired, or replaced product. Warranty Conditions This Warranty is valid only if Lumled Corporation's products are: Used for their intended purpose, as specified in the Product Specification Sheets. Properly configured, wired, and installed in compliance with: Product Specification Sheets Building codes The latest National Electrical Code (NEC) Applicable UL Safety Standards This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original installation and is non-transferable. Warranty Period The Warranty period begins on the date of original shipment. If a product is replaced or repaired under this Warranty, the replacement product retains the original product’s Warranty period and does not restart. Refer to the Product Specification Sheets for applicable Warranty periods. If no period is specified, the standard Warranty period is five (5) years. Exception: LED Tape Lights – Covered under a five (5)-year Warranty, provided they are used for no more than 10 consecutive hours in a 24-hour period. Light Degradation & Color Shift Gradual light degradation (output and/or color shift) is an expected occurrence over the product’s lifespan. While Lumled Corporation’s products are designed to minimize degradation, the Company cannot guarantee that a replacement product will perfectly match the color temperature or light output of previously installed units. Disclaimer of Warranty LUMLED CORPORATION MAKES NO WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY OUTLINED IN THIS WARRANTY. THESE WARRANTIES REPLACE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF: MERCHANTABILITY FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT AS REQUIRED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. LUMLED CORPORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Lost or anticipated revenues or profits Loss of property Personal injury Injury to reputation or loss of customers Lumled Corporation’s sole liability for defects is limited to replacement, repair, or refund, not to exceed the original purchase price. This Warranty does not cover products classified as obsolete, discontinued, or clearance. Unauthorized Warranty Modifications No person or entity is authorized to modify this Warranty, including but not limited to: Lumled Corporation employees Sales representatives Designers, specifiers, engineers, or architects Electricians or installers Retailers or wholesalers Any modification of this Warranty requires express written approval from Lumled Corporation’s president. Warranty Exclusions This Warranty does not apply in the following cases: Products that have been modified, adjusted, or repaired after leaving Lumled Corporation’s premises. Products subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, or accidents. Products damaged due to improper configuration, design, or layout. Products damaged due to improper installation or connection. Products used in inappropriate environments (e.g., incorrect temperature, humidity, or moisture conditions). Products used with unapproved third-party components, devices, or systems. Electrical power surges or spikes. Damage caused by lightning, high winds, hail, flooding, tornadoes, fires, or other acts of God. Products used in any manner that is inconsistent with the Product Specification Sheets. Exception: Product Modifications While product modifications generally void this Warranty, the following low-voltage products will remain covered after connector plugs have been trimmed for hardwired installation: 12V, 24V, and 48V LED Tape Lights 12V, 24V, and 48V Wet Location LED Tape Lights These products must be installed according to national and local electrical codes and in compliance with this Warranty to remain covered. Consumer Acknowledgment By purchasing Lumled Corporation products, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that: The Company stands behind its products when used correctly and according to specifications. LED lighting design, configuration, and installation are complex processes where small changes can significantly affect system performance. Proper product selection is essential. Lumled Corporation can assist with product recommendations based on customer-provided information, but it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure proper design, configuration, and installation. Statements from Lumled Corporation employees or agents regarding a purchase order or bill of goods do not constitute an acknowledgment that the selected products are designed or configured correctly. There may be multiple ways to design and install an LED lighting system to achieve similar results. Licensed professionals should be used for system design and installation. Gradual light degradation (output and/or color shift) is normal over time. Policy Updates LUMLED CORPORATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND THIS WARRANTY POLICY AT ANY TIME BY POSTING UPDATES ON www.lumled-usa.com. Any changes will apply to all orders placed after the update is posted. How to Make a Warranty Claim If you believe you have a valid Warranty claim, follow these steps: Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): Contact Lumled Corporation via www.lumled-usa.com. Submit a completed RMA form along with proof of purchase. Product Evaluation: Lumled Corporation will review the RMA and determine if the claim falls within the Warranty terms. If approved, Lumled Corporation will either: Instruct the purchaser to return the defective product, or Send a representative to inspect the installed product. ⚠️ Failure to follow this procedure will void the Warranty. Determination & Resolution: Lumled Corporation reserves the right to: Inspect the installation site. Examine and test the product to evaluate: Proper configuration, design, and installation. The cause of failure. Warranty eligibility. If the claim meets Warranty terms, Lumled Corporation will: Repair the product, Provide a replacement, or Issue a refund or credit. ⚠️ All sales of obsolete, discontinued, or clearance products are final.
